POLISH GRAMMAR-PART 1
Level: Basic
Time taken to Complete: 200 minutes Activity:
Polish grammar is different than english. We have 3 tenses which are called przeszły terazniejszy and przyszły. In przeszły we talk about things which was in past. Czas terazniejszy told us about things which happening now and przyszły tell us about things which will happen in the future. What about verb to be? Lets see, it's not complicated: I am- ja jestem You are-ty jesteś She is- ona jest He is- on jest It is-ono jest We are- my jesteśmy You are- wy jesteście There are- oni są So, when you want to say, "he is a student," in Polish it sound : on jest studentem. They are crazy- it looks like "oni są szaleni . It's fairly simple. Polish grammar is not that difficult, but if we talk about pronunciation it's really hard for foreigners, because a lot of them cant pronounce the polish letters ś,ć,ż. Its really hard for them. People in other countries also can have problem with spelling some words, because our spelling is a bit compicated but I will write about this maybe next time. login or register to post comments | 735 reads Tags: (Polish | POLISH GRAMMAR) |
