This book is pretty decent for another look at a Germanic Language. I haven't found a lot of good Dutch books, but this is definately one of them. This one also has a lovely list of Irregular verbs (being as they are so important to languages like German, Dutch and English).

As an individual who studied German first, this book seemed to help me a little bit because I could see the connections between the two languages. Also now that I have reviewed it again, my linguistic training also helped me find patterns I normally wouldn't have seen.
There are some parts of the book which I think probably could have gone with a bit more explaining, but on the most part this book is a good one.
