Review:
I have been learning from this Basic text and Workbook. It is very easy to pick up on the language. I am a beginer and I would definately ask you to look it up on amazon. So far I have Mandarin LVL. 1 and LVL. 2. The book is very self explanatory. The goal of the workbook is to help you with basic words and characters to help you be able to do basic reading and speaking. It has both traditional and simplified characters and pinyin along with english. Easy Chinese also comes with an interactive cd for the computer. The cd lacks a little bit of creativity but is still a  good learning tool. The book also has tests in it. What i have been doing is copying what  i am learning into notebook. I take the tests and write in my notebook so i keep the Easy Chinese workbook in good condition. So far my progress is slow, but hey I am a beggineer.
