I haven't studied this to any great depth but it seems to be a good book. Each chapter has a dialogue, vocabulary and grammar section. They are usually clear and simple to understand. If you buy this book, be careful! There seem to be a million different versions, some only in Japanese, others for advanced learners and others in only English.
