I haven't had much exposure to Portuguese before this book, I'll be honest. I knew a bit about the fact that it was related to Spanish, but nothing much about in what ways and such.

This book helped show me ways to see cognates between Spanish and Portuguese and ways to recognize them. It is also an interesting comparison with the Spanish grammar I have already learned.

I would say this grammar is a perfect reference for anyone who wants to learn portuguese. If you want to learn portuguese, I would check this book out.
