Thai Berlitz Phrase Book and Dictionary
Review: This little baby always has a permanent place in backpack when ever I am in Thailand. It covers everything you would expect it too, and the romanisation is pretty clear. The nature of Thai (i.e it has minimal grammar) is ideally suited for using a phrase book. If you know a little of the language you will quickly find yourself modifying sentences to great success. I am also a fan of Lonely Planet phrase books. These tend to have good sections for certain situations (i.e in the bedroom or on the first date). The LP book also has a small Hill-Tribe Language section which could come in handy. login or register to post comments | 317 reads These books are great!!!
![]() Berlitz phrase books are the travellers’ best friend. I have used them in several countries and they never fail me. Some are better than others but the Thai one is very good. I highly recommend this book.
