In this book you will find short essays about Thai culture, food, schooling, festivals and history. It is broken down into these topics, among others, with the essay written in Thai and translated into English. There are also grammar and vocabulary guides for each new essay.

While the title contains the word ‘advanced’ I think this book is more appropriate for the intermediate learner that wants to push themselves a little.

This is a very easy book to use as a study guide, although it’s usefully to have a Thai friend or two to explain some of the more difficult points.

I’m a big fan of this series of books by Benjawan Poomsan Becker and recommend it. Five stars…
