A good place to start for anyone planning on seriously studying Thai. With simple clear explanations this book will guide you gently into the world of Thai.

It is not too challenging for the new learner of Thai and clear and simple to read. It works well with Thai: An Essential Grammar, which can follow up with more in-depth explanations.

Benjamin Poomsan Becker has created a great series of books and I recommend following them. Don’t worry about some of them being too advanced, get started on the next level as soon as you think you can and before you know it you’ll be an advanced learner.
